General Description:
This property has been highly improved and maintained in several different ways.  Not only does it have a significant amount of surface water but the variation of the water features contributes to numerous unique uses.  These range from water skiing on the big water to duck hunting the backwater sloughs!  To say the fishing is good simply wouldn't do it justice.  Currently, the largest bass caught on the property weighed in at over 12 pounds.  Hundreds of mallards pour into the shallow flooded areas of the property in the fall and geese in the area use the lakes to roost on.

If you like to ride horses or ATV's, there are scenic trails cut through the timber, around the lake, and down to the river that will get you fired up!  Miles and miles of trails meander next to the water, through giant pines and Hollars then down by the river.  If you're the adventurous type, make sure your buggy has a winch before go down to the bottoms so you can explore all the nooks and crannies!

The rustic, off-grid cabin is nestled amongst stunning mature pines with a food plot strategically planted to attract wildlife.  It is also surrounded by a shared lake with water on three sides.  If you're looking for peace and quiet, this will be the place it can be found.
Through the years, the Seller annually hosted several traditional events including a barbeque rib cookoff in October and a fireworks display over the lake for the 4th of July.  This is the kind of place you definitely want to share and enjoy with others!  Some properties get used or have a purpose but I believe Flatt Lake is an experience!

The Kiamichi River is synonymous with big deer and Pushmataha County is home to several of Oklahoma's record-book bucks.  If you like to hunt up close and personal then the bottoms along the river would be your cup of tea.  However, if you prefer scenic food plots surrounded by mature pines, those are here too.  Several very very large contiguous neighbors that border the property to the north and east directly contribute to the significant deer quality that can be found here.
