General Description:
The Salt Creek 355 is less than an hour from the Oklahoma City metro area in the heart of ranch country. Crosstimbers with a mix of native and improved grasses create ample opportunities for cattle and wildlife alike. The ranch is currently running 80 cow-calf pairs with rotational grazing practices during the growing season. Recent dozer work and new cross fencing have allowed this ranch to maximize its grazing efficiency and ease of handling cattle. It is not uncommon to see whitetail deer and Rio Grande turkey feeding in the fields or along the timberline. This property is bordered to the north by a state-owned, 640 acre, leased hunting preserve. This property along with its neighbors actively manages the whitetail herd focusing on only harvesting mature deer and a very limited quota.
