Ask Dan Ward
Rose Lake is a heavily wooded acreage with a 13+/- acre lake located several miles south of the Deep Fork River near Chandler, OK. The property is very easily accessed via a gravel county road less than 1/2 a mile north of Hwy 18B and lies at the end of a short dead-end road. This area is well known by waterfowlers for holding loads of mallards in the fall. The upper necks of this lake appear to be shallow with flooded vegetation and surrounded by timber. These would make fantastic places to attract ducks with any wind! Several wooded drainages leading into the lake offer great travel corridors for whitetails. There are some clearings scattered throughout but most of them have a brushy component with younger aged Post Oaks. The property has great rolling terrain and diversity for a recreational property. I can't think of more desirable characteristics for a recreational property less than an hour from Edmond or Oklahoma City!!!
