Buck Ridge Ranch is a thick, wooly hunting property with the perfect habitat to grow and kill big mature whitetail deer. Located only an hour and a half from DFW, but with a very secluded setting, its not hard to see why the wildlife love this property so much. The land starts out with a gentle rolling topography and big mature Oak trees which produce acorns each year for the deer, turkey and all kinds of other native game. There is a nice internal trail system which leads to food plots, hidden deer feeders, a nice pond, and several native grass openings. There is also deep canyon which runs to the southwest corner of the property and based on topography and watershed would be an ideal location to construct a lake up to around 10 acres in size, which is extremely hard to find. The current owner has hunted the property very lightly, with a 165" buck take a couple of years ago and several much larger bucks on camera. There was also a 202" buck harvested in the immediate area.
