General Description:

The Ranch on Roaring Creek is located in southern Grady County just NE of Rush Springs, Oklahoma. This generously sized 1,190 +/- acre ranch is abundant with water, native grasslands, and wooded draws.

The ranch's main water feature is an immense 40 +/- acre conservation lake that lies in the heart of the property. Fed by the spring waters of Roaring Creek, the lake maintains a consistent level year around. Below the dam, the lake's tailwaters feed the creek to create additional habitat for fish species like largemouth bass.

Numerous stock ponds are strategically placed around the ranch so livestock has abundant water without having to travel far from their grazing lands. Well placed water resources (like the ones found on this ranch) help facilitate better range utilization by cattle.

Across the range, native grasses are in abundance as well. The ranch's predominant grass - little bluestem - blankets the hills while bermuda grass thrives in the areas where the bluestem does not.
